Do you know what's in your almond milk?
Homemade almond milk tastes so much better and fresher than the ones you buy in the store! Rich in antioxidants and vitamin A, B, D and E, almond milk is a great alternative to the usual dairy milk.

1 cup of raw almonds
3-4 cups of water
A sweetener of your choice (agave, raw honey, dates, stevia)
Soak 1 cup of almonds in filtered water for at least 6 hours or overnight in a glass or stainless steel bowl
Drain the almonds
Place almonds in a blender
Blend on high speed until white (will look like milk)
Strain almond pulp through a nut bag (can be ordered on Amazon)
Pour the milk back into the blender and add a sweetener of your choice
Blend again gently
Pour into your favorite bottle(s)
Refrigerate (will last up to 5 days)
*Approx. 3-4 cups of water per cup of almonds. If you like a thicker consistency, add less water and visa versa.
*Sweetener should be added in moderation, taste first and add to your liking. I use only 1 packet of stevia for the entire 4 cups. You can use honey, dates, etc...
