Ingredients (1-2 servings):
2 cups of almond/cashew/coconut milk
1 tbsp of raw honey
1 tbsp of sliced fresh ginger
1 tbsp of sliced fresh turmeric
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
4-5 black peppercorns (or 1/4 tsp of ground pepper)
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk.
Bring to a low boil and reduce heat.
Simmer covered for about 10-12 minutes while stirring well until all flavors have blended nicely. You will notice the color changing to hue of orange.
Strain all ingredients.
